Rare 1983 Footage of the legendary Tin Pan Apple Rap & Dance Contest, organised by Swiss Born Music Manager Charles Stettler. The Event was presented by the Radiostation WBLS, the legendary Host Mr. Magic and the Coca Cola Company. This awesome Footage shows the Auditions in all five Boroughs, the Pre-Finals in the legendary Bronx Nightclub “Disco Fever”, various Interviews plus the Finals at Manhattan`s Radio City Music Hall. The legendary Groups “The Fat Boys” (then “Disco 3”) and “UTFO” (then called „UFO” as MCs & “The Keystone Dancers” as Dancers) both won the Contest and started their careers through this Event.
