15. The places that he is going into to shoot this documentary are places that,
    apart from shooting a documentary on crime, wouldn’t be of interest to you
    if you actually have to live here. It’s like doing a crime documentary on
    Miami and only showing the “hood” areas.

16. ill be going to trinidad in about a week and i can asure trinidad like many
    countries has a crime problem but i can also asure that it is a beautiful
    country with amazing people and as an Hindu american man going to a country
    predominantly muslim and be able to share food and culture with anyone and
    everyone, walk up to anyones house and strike a good conversation and make
    new friends (feels more like family) that should tell you that Trinidad is
    a nice place. Vice news shows all whats wrong, thats good they should cause
    all of it is true, but i wish they would show more of the communities that
    dont deal with the bullshit of these ” gangs” and drugs. Granted most of
    Trinidad wouldnt agree with the western mind set the marijuana is a bad
    drug because it is inlased in their culture like alcohol in the USA, but
    most Trinis would agree if they see someone doing something stupid they
    would either call the cops or tell that person to fuck off and get a god
    damn job.

24. That man, Spanish, seems a little sketchy and I don’t entirely buy his
    claims of being only a ‘community leader’. But gang leader or not, he is a
    positive force in an otherwise hopeless situation.
