Even with just seeing snippets of clips of their 3 bouts I can respect Joe Frazier, helped build the man who many think is the greatest of all time while also building himself to withstand fear, taunting, and being (from the sounds of it) an underdog. He came out on top despite being out sized and some would say out skilled. Persevered on pure heart. This man is a true legend. R.I.P. Joe Frazier. You are an inspiration.

Frazier believed in hard work, treated everyone the same, didn’t expect to be treated like he was special, won the fight of the century and was in many ways the antithesis of the spoiled, atttention seeking modern athlete. The fact that he wasn’t respected for all this doesn’t say good things about our society. they really should replace that rocky statue with one of him.
