Laquan McDonald. Alton Sterling. Philando Castile. These names are more than just headlines. They had families, friends, children, mothers and fathers. Sometimes the human aspect is forgotten — and Backwood reminds us of this. This is a deeper look into humans lost at the hands of gun violence — from police or otherwise.
