   action bronson, the beast coast movement. also the solo work of joey

   in years. you just have to look harder for good music

19. I feel really sorry for NY artists now. They have only 2 options, adapt to
    stay relevant or lose relevancy. Even the rappers that are real are forced
    to do songs with other artists they don’t want to just to be able to keep
    food on their table. Hip hop just isn’t the same as it was 8-10 years ago.
    The feel is all different and the style is so fucking gay now. V necks,
    skinny jeans, grown men wearing skirts. The trap era was awful and had no
    lyricism, and this YMCB era just made it all about popping bottles and
    fucking bitches. No one raps about real fucking shit anymore.
